Casino Venetian Macao in China
The Venetian Macao is a casino resort in Macau, China owned by the Las Vegas Sands hotel-casino chain and its the world’s largest casino. The Venetian is a huge complex with the central building standing over 40 stories high and costing US$2.4-billion to build. The 120,000-square meter Venetian Macao is modeled on its sister casino resort – the The Venetian in Las Vegas.
The Venetian claims to be the world’s largest gaming space, taking up 550,000 square feet and housing 3,400 slot machines. The casino hosts more than 800 gambling tables.

The Malaysia Sky Bridge
It’s not a bridge to the sky, but it’s not far from the idea! The Langkawi sky-bridge in Malaysia is suspended at 700 metres above sea level and spans 125 across the mountains, offering magnificent views of the Andaman Sea and Thailand’s Tarutao Island. It’s set apart from other bridges by its curves that provide different perspectives of the landscapes. Breathtaking Monasteries Around the World
1. Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Bhutan)
Taktshang is the most famous of monasteries in Bhutan. It hangs on a cliff at 3,120 metres (10,200 feet), some 700 meters (2,300 feet) above the bottom of Paro valley. Famous visitors include Ngawang Namgyal in the 17th century and Milarepa.
The name means “Tiger’s nest”, the legend being that Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche) flew there on the back of a tiger. The monastery includes seven temples which can all be visited. The monastery suffered several blazes and is a recent restoration. Climbing to the monastery is on foot or mule.

Strata Tower in Abu Dhabi
Dubai is coming out to be the next destination as far as architectural designs are concerned. An example of the same is the Strata tower, a forty story, luxury residential building designed by architects Hani Rashid and Lise Anne Couture of Asymptote. The work has started on the Al Raha Beach and is slated to be completed by early 2011.
The tower would be 160 meters high and will be tallest building in the Al Dana precinct, which is the centerpiece of Aldar Properties PJSC’s prestigious Al Raha Beach development. The project and its development shall be showcased at Cityscape Abu Dhabi from May 13–15, 2008. the Strata Tower is designed to signify an important and dignified future for the Abu Dhabi and the surrounding region.

Tennis anyone? Sky is the limit
In February 2005, tennis pros Roger Federer and Andre Agassi were in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for the ATP’s Dubai Duty Free Men’s Open, a $1 million International Series Gold event. While in town, they took part in a publicity stunt, engaging in a friendly exhibition tennis match on the grass helipad atop the luxurious Burj Al Arab hotel.
