This is the town of Herceg-Novi in Montenegro,
which is close to the border with Croatia.

Night was warm but windy, some bush in foreground might be a little blured.

Pogled na Rose sa brodica

This fortress is located at the very north of the Herceg Novi old town and is
the part of town’s fortification system. It was built in the niddle of the
16th century in the times of turkish occupation. The name Kanli Kula
translated from turkish means Bloody tower. No wonder, considering that some
of its parts served as a prison and preasons at that times were realy full of
human blood.
