Resurrecturis, Piran
Piran was modeled after Venice and much of the architecture and planning is
reminiscent to that. The inner city streets were a maze of cobblestone paths
surrounded by brightly colored buildings, flanked by flags of laundry and
fresh flowers everywhere. It was fun (and safe) to wander around the streets
and get lost — but the city is so small that you can’t go far without ending
back up in a main plaza or street.
